Back to High School

Our destination for today's medical clinics was the region of Khurda and the village of Dingar located 55KM from Bhubaneswar. We setup our clinics all together in the government middle school for this district. The drive time was nearly 1.5 hours in each direction but with an early departure from our hotel and a late finish in the village we made a valiant attempt at seeing most of the more serious cases.

When we are given the opportunity to setup our clinics in a school, we can usually count on seeing a large number of young boys & girls, however, we must work diligently to make certain that more critically ill patients and the elderly are seen by the doctors as well. It is always a challenge but an important principle to follow in this work.

Thank you for your faithful prayer support of the pastor's conference which is running concurrently to our medical mission. Today over 40 people were in attendance and heard another great lecture by Dr. Everett Berry.

Tomorrow we will work in slum village closer in to Bhubaneswar.
